Daikin's JAFZA headquarters refurbished

INTEGRA's Alliance partner, 3SixtyConsult, has worked alongside DP World to deliver cost and construction management services to handover a complete refurbishment of the original HQ structure for Daikin Middle East and Africa in JAFZA.

The facility was handed over and fully operational within an aggressive six-month program.

The original structure was first built in 1999. Before moving in to its new JAFZA location, Daikin sought a complete refurbishment to the building. The project scope included the replacement of all cladding to the warehouse and to the office roof. A completely new MEP infrastructure and fire fighting system were installed throughout the facility bringing the structure up to modern day fire and safety codes.

The headquarters now houses multiple departments under one roof, with total built-up area of 7,500 square metres consisting of offices, warehouse and factory facility in addition to a showroom and academy. Daikin designed, supplied and installed the new HVAC system for the facility, which demonstrates the capability of its products from VRV, Chiller & control systems.
